At present, my research is focused in three categories:

  1. Synthesis of novel nanostructured materials with controlled morphology and properties

  2. Development of environmentally friendly and scalable routes to the synthesis of nanostructured materials

  3. Development of nanocatalysts with enhanced performance for a wide variety of catalytic and electrocatalytic applications including proton-exchange membrane fuel cells

The long term goals of my research are to deliver new and attractive solutions to the fields of nanomaterial synthesis and engineering, provide better understanding of phenomena that occur on the nanometer scale, and advance basic science.
